Trosgynnal Referral Form

Advocacy service for all children and young people who meet the eligibility criteria.

  • provide information to children and young people on their rights
  • support children and young people to have their say in meetings and to sort out difficulties with professionals
  • help children and young people make a complaint


Eligibility criteria:

  1. Children/ Young People ‘Looked After’
  2. Children/ Young People needing Independent Visitor Scheme
  3. Children/ Young People ‘in need’ which includes children and young people who:
  • have mental health problems
  • have a disability (within definition of Children Act 1989)
  • are excluded from school
  • are asylum seekers or refugees or unaccompanied minors
  • are in a refuge due to homeless status
  • are homeless or in unsatisfactory accommodation
  • are away from home in residential accommodation, schools,
    Secure Units and custodial settings or independent Hospitals
  • are in the Youth Justice System
  • are young carers
  • have been or who are at risk of being abused or neglected
  • are school aged mothers
  • SEN pupils who may be subject to a tribunal

Age Range: Children and Young People under 25 years old

Bilingual Services: English, Welsh.
