Activity/service provided Aim of the activity/service How it’s delivered and who benefits
Easter and summer DASH Play schemes provides safe, generously staffed, stimulating and  enjoyable play schemes for disabled children and their siblings. Whole days (9-3.30) delivered in 2 venues simultaneouslyover 4 days at Easter and 19 days in the summer holidays.Beneficiaries are disabled children and their siblings aged4 – 11 years. Free transport – door to door.
Easter and summer DASHABOUT Activity Days provides safe, generously staffed, stimulating and  enjoyable leisure activities for disabled young people aged 12-25 years. Planned timetable of whole day activities  over 4 days atEaster and 15 days in the summer holidays. There are 2groups running simultaneously: 1 group offers venuebased activities whilst the second group offers a range ofactivity choices many of which are out of county.

Beneficiaries are disabled young people aged 12-25.

Attendance enables parents, carers and other family members to have the opportunity for a short break or to work.

Free transport is provided.

Term timeDASHABOUT Frendz provides young disabled people aged 12-25 years with opportunities to meet as a social group, build relationships and benefit from taking part in a wide and interesting range of activities. Currently three separate groups(with different membership)of young people aged 12-25 yrs., each meeting on a setnight per week during term time only.Free transport is provided. 
DASH AWAY Weekends provides short residential breaks for children and young people aged 8-18 years with an emphasis on leisure activities. 10 – 12 planned residential weekends a year for groups ofup to 6 disabled children aged 8-11 or  6 disabled youngpeople aged 12 -18 years. Free transport is provided. 
Ymuno DASH is able to help registered child care settings to include children aged 4-11yrs requiring additional support in out of school and holiday clubs . DASH can make a financial contribution towards extrastaffing necessary to meet the child’s needs.
Ymuno Plus DASH can support disabled children to access a mainstream activity of their choice. This scheme involves DASH providing a member ofsupport staff to support disabled children aged 4-11 years
Attendance on schemes supports parents, carers and family members to have the opportunity for a short break or work.


Costs – vary from scheme to scheme:

  • Playschemes -£7 and £5
  • Activity Days – varies according to activity
  • DASHWAY Weekends: £15-20
  • Frendz – £3.00 per session
  • Ymuno – N/A
  • Ymuno Plus – no charge

Language: Welsh and English

Service provided to children and young people resident in Ceredigion. Age restrictions apply to specific schemes.

With the exception of Frendz and Ymuno referrals come from Tim Plant Anabl staff.

Frendz referrals can be made by Tîm Plant Anabl, Tîm Teulu, Mentors, Young Carers, Inclusion officers, or any other agency in Ceredigion supporting young people.

Ymuno referrals are made by the clubs requiring support.
